Solutions

What we deliver

We take onboard systems from specification to sea trials – designed, supplied, installed and commissioned by one team, for newbuilds and retrofits alike.

Step by step

How we deliver

Take the full journey, or pick only the stages you need.

Design

We define the system with you – scope, class and flag requirements, and the right equipment to best suit your vessel.

Engineering

We prepare all drawings, schematics and system documentation to your standards – engineered so every component works together exactly as it should.

Delivery

Equipment sourced from our partners, tested and shipped to the yard or vessel on schedule, while keeping you informed at every step.

Installation

Our engineers install the system or supervise the yard's team, on site, wherever the vessel is.

Commissioning

Setup, testing and sea trials, followed by handover and documentation – with optional crew training once the system is running.

08

Sound signalling

A complete sound signalling system from Zöllner, always selected for the vessel type and the rules that apply to it – the right horns, the right controls, and exactly the equipment the regulations call for.

Typical scope

  • Signal horns in three technologies: compressed-air, electro-mechanical and electronic
  • Controls from simple push-buttons to programmed, COLREG-compliant signal sequences
  • Bells and gongs where the regulations require them
  • Supported by sound reception systems (SRD) for enclosed bridges

09

GMDSS

A complete GMDSS installation built on SAILOR and Jotron equipment, specified for the sea areas the vessel operates in – from the radio console on the bridge to the emergency beacons.

Typical scope

  • GMDSS radio console configured for sea areas A1–A4
  • MF/HF and VHF DSC radios, including airband; AIS
  • Satellite GMDSS terminals: Iridium and Inmarsat-C
  • Handheld GMDSS VHF radios, EPIRBs and SARTs

10

UHF radio

Onboard UHF radio from Motorola Solutions, designed so the crew can reach each other anywhere on the vessel – and configured around the way the shipowner and crew actually work.

Typical scope

  • Distributed antenna systems (DAS) with repeaters for reliable coverage across the whole vessel
  • Radios in DMR and TETRA standards
  • System configuration tailored to the needs of the shipowner and crew

11

VSAT

Reliable broadband at sea – VSAT systems from Cobham SAILOR and Intellian, matched to the vessel and its connectivity needs, with airtime and onboard network integration available when required.

Typical scope

  • Ku- and Ka-band antennas
  • Solutions across all orbits – GEO, LEO and multi-orbit
  • Airtime packages on request
  • Integration with the vessel’s onboard network

12

LAN

Onboard networks designed and built end to end – from 19" rack cabinets to Wi-Fi access points distributed across the vessel.

Typical scope

  • 19″ rack cabinets and core network equipment
  • Switching, routing and network security
  • Wi-Fi distribution through access points across the vessel

13

CCTV

Flexible CCTV systems built around what the client actually needs – with standard cameras where they fit and marine type-approved cameras where they are required.

Typical scope

  • System tailored to the client: image resolution, recording retention time and more
  • Standard cameras for general areas
